Your Task
The year is 1607. You are four months into your voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. Soon, you will see the land of Virginia which will become your new home. Not everyone in your town could make the voyage to the New World with you. It is your responsibility to communicate with your family and friends back in England and tell them about your journey. Once you make your way onto land, you will write letters home. Your family and friends will want to know what it was like traveling to Virginia and what life is like at Jamestown.
You will research the first permanent English settlement at Jamestown and complete two assignments. Use this graphic organizer to help organize your research findings. Under the Process tab, you will find specific questions you are to research. There are different research questions you will focus on during Day 1 and 2 of your WebQuest.
